Job Description
Sneha Karma Foundation is seeking a Program Manager to lead various programs and projects in India. The individual will support the leadership team in various strategic, operational and programmatic initiatives of the non-profit. The Program Manager will play a lead role in establishing and growing the presence of Sneha Karma Foundation in India. The individual should have strong leadership and exceptional communication skills.

  • Lead all efforts related to Sneha Karma Foundation as a NGO in India
  • Lead all efforts related to our Social Enterprise in India
  • Program Manage various Non-Profit Projects funded by us in India
  • Co-ordinate and Communicate effectively with volunteers in India and USA

Qualification Experience

  • College Graduate
  • Fluent in English and Hindi Languages
  • Excellent written communication skills
  • Self-Starter
  • Able to travel to rural parts of India
  • Prior Philanthropy work experience (not required but will be helpful)

Immediate Responsibilities

  • Lead all efforts related to Sneha Karma Foundation as a NGO in India
  • Work out the Initial Business and Operational process
  • Lead setting up Social Enterprise of Sneha Karma Foundation in India
  • Establish a network of Artisans from different villages of India
  • Identify artisans from at least 10 parts of India who produce quality products that will have a high demand in USA and other International markets
  • Setup the Supply chain management process for goods from Artisans to storage facility in USA
  • Finished goods to be transported to a central location in India
  • Consolidated inventory from different parts of India to be shipped to California
  • Manage the Online store and marketing for the Social Enterprise
  • Manage the Catalogue and other details on the Online Store
  • Do regular marketing campaigns using internet ( Face Book, Email, Blog, etc)
  • Program Manage various Non-Profit Projects funded by us in India
  • Create a project plan for each of the projects
  • Visit the Project sites and create a report on the progress report
  • Co-ordinate and Communicate effectively with volunteers in India and USA
  • Organize and Facilitate meetings between volunteers in India and USA

Travel
25 to 50% to rural parts of India
