We take pride in being a 100% volunteer-led nonprofit, with 25+ active virtual volunteers on the team at any given time and 100+ more in reserve who we call on when we are in urgent need. Our Social Enterprise
We are now embarking on a new journey to launch our social enterprise initiative, Artisans Direct By Sneha Karma Foundation. To make this initiative successful, we are growing our team in India and recruiting a few paid employees who can not only earn a living but also grow their careers in the field of social enterprise. Though Artisans Direct is a social enterprise, it will compete with for-profit businesses and will be run like any other business — the only difference being that 100% of the profit will be used to fund Sneha Karma Foundation programs. Over time, this will help us become more self-reliant and less dependent on donations.
About the Role: We are hiring our first paid employees in India. Currently, Sneha Karma Foundation is supported by more than 100 virtual volunteers. We are now looking to hire our first paid employee in India to scale our newly launched Artisans Direct by Sneha Karma Foundation social enterprise.
