About Sneha Karma Foundation
Sneha Karma Foundation is a USA registered 501(c)(3) non-profit organization based in California, with a Section 8 company registration in India. It was founded by someone who wanted to give back but kept finding that very little of a donation reached the people who needed it most.
Operating costs are capped at 10%, and a founding member covers a share of them. At least 90% of every gift, after payment-processing fees, goes to the girls and women we serve. Our work spans girls’ education, women’s livelihood, and social change — built around listening to what families and communities actually need.

Research Analyst (ArtisansDirect) — Roles & Responsibilities
ArtisansDirect By SKF is a non-profit e-commerce initiative giving under-privileged artisans across India a free platform to sell their products online. Research Analysts and Product Managers help us find the right artisans and keep the store running well.
About the role
Our team of Research Analyst volunteers is responsible for ongoing research and building a database of artisans that SKF should consider for the ArtisansDirect Program.
What you will do
- Do online and offline research to identify artisans who could benefit from the ArtisansDirect Program.
- Establish first contact with artisans and gauge their interest in joining the program.
- Confirm that artisans meet the eligibility criteria for the ArtisansDirect Program.
- Plan an in-person visit by an SKF volunteer to validate each artisan’s eligibility.
- Develop a digital catalog of the products that the artisan and SKF agree to sell online.
